WELCOME TO THE GYM
The upcoming room uses a lot of random interactions and tech!
I(Unhealthy_Poro) decided to make a gym giving a brief description and practice on these interactions (and other interesting ones)
This is mainly for people who are struggling or are stumped on one of these, but some of these aren't used and are very silly
I'd recommend reading the explanations because there is some insight into how bounce spikes work (especially this first one)

That button is {~}special{/~} and has bounce spikes!
Due to the nature of bounce spikes, properly they cancel your dash as long as you don't hit a solid,
This is why you've seen some bounce spikes in cybn and cyan be extended (madeline is too speedy,{1} {!}I DIDNT GIVE THEM VIAGRA{/!})
Dash switches however {~}"teleport"{/~} you to the solid theyre attached to (the button presented {~}"teleports"{/~} you down)
Sidenote: I put teleport in quotes because it doesn't really, but imo it's easier to think of like that, anyway...
As a result there's this weird interaction where madeline's dash is rebounded due to the spikes and the speed she hits them at

This is a demonstration of what I was talking about earlier with the {~}weird dash rebound{/~}
In case you forgot, if madeline hits a solid a bounce spike is attached to before the bounce spike,{n}her dash does this weird rebound
The buttons in this little section have an actual solid at the base\
and youll realize the one acception which would make sense,
this {~}weird dash rebound{/~} doesn't occur for downard facing buttons, which should make sense because the ceiling doesnt imped speed at all

This map uses jelly bumps as youve seen, and this is no different!
So yeah like a, {~}gultra bump{/~}
Things to note is that, 1. you need to do jump -> dash into jelly for the gultra and {n}2. you need to be perfect on the gultra, idk the inputs but like a dashbounce ;3

This is a funky one, and {big}SHOULD{/big} be setup :catstare:
Grabbing a jelly inside a bounce spike moves you the direction of the spike during pickup frames, and retains your speed from before
This would also work if you grab the same frame you hit a bounce spike
It should be noted that if the grab cancels a dash this doesn't work(at least I couldn't get it to)
also dont gultra into the portal

It is worth noting, make sure to delay your jump as to not super {n}{~}or you could gultra but yk...........{/~}

Give thanks to lift boost leniency for this one, the period you get the boost here is {!}TIGHT{/!} {!}AS{/!} {!}HELL{/!}
The boost you get here from the button goes for all holdables and its awesome I love dash switches

This is very simple, entering a portal with a button on top of the other end kills you!{1}{n}unless you dont and your speed is just killed

As a hint, it's similar to why dashbounces({~}shaboingboing{/~}) work
After jump -> dashing into a bounce spike, you can continue holding(or repressing) jump to get an upwards boost
